What the limits mean

Plan terms in plain language.

  • Combinations per batch — A combination is one specific set of input values for your strategy. If you sweep a fast length from 5 to 20 and a slow length from 20 to 100, the combinations multiply. Higher plans let you cover wider ranges in a single batch.
  • Date range — The maximum span of historical data the engine will use for each backtest. Longer ranges show more market regimes, but also take longer to run.
  • Queue priority — When the engine is busy, higher-priority batches are scheduled sooner. This affects how long you wait for results to start streaming back.
  • Throughput — A multiplier on how quickly each batch runs. 2x and 5x plans process combinations faster, so a large sweep finishes sooner.
